Furthermore I have been spending time understanding and finding things that can be improved performance wise.<\/p>\n<p>The grant is almost at an end so I&#8217;ll use this blog to summarize what has been achived.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Built a CI framework and visualization tool for the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ssbc\/bench-ssb\">bench-ssb<\/a> repo. I used the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/node-ci\/nci\">nci<\/a> framework for this and have been quite happy with the result.<\/li>\n<li>Found and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dominictarr\/level-post\/commit\/81c9c7819cbebbb73cf07ab0fbf79d3c99602dc5\">fixed<\/a> a memory leak that made level-post really slow over time.<\/li>\n<li>Made several improvements to flume to improve performance. Some interesting links related to this: <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dominictarr\/charwise\">charwise<\/a>\u00a0 and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/arj03\/test-json-parse\">json performance<\/a> related to buffers in node.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have kept a dev <a href=\"http:\/\/viewer.scuttlebot.io\/channel\/benchmark-ci\">diary<\/a>\u00a0for the duration of the grant.
